Luuk has over two decades experience as a Yacht Consultant advising clients on new construction and pre-owned yachts over 25 meters. Originally from Holland, Luuk moved to Spain at 21, where he gained experience working for the yacht brokerage companies Castlemain and Camper & Nicholsons.

In 1987, Luuk founded De Valk Yachts Spain. For many years he collaborated closely with Cheoy Lee Shipyards ( China ) on new construction projects for the European market.

During a break from the yachting business, he completed an MBA degree at the University of Chicago and has been involved several business consulting projects.

Luuk founded YachtMarketing Limited primarily to focus on the market niche of Motor Yacht Catamarans over 25 meters.
